Day 59.
Today started off way too early and ended pretty late. In between, there was some great stuff and some really craptacular stuff. We're hoping for more of the former tomorrow.

LOST

Day 58
Watching LOST with a certain someone at our friend's house is quickly becoming one of my favorite weekly traditions. Joey, the adorable black puppy, likes it too.

Handicrafts

Day 57
I finished this necklace a few days ago. It's made from fancy yarn I found in a clearance bin, and I loves it.

I almost forgot: the color-coordinating (sort of) shot of the weekend.

Adventuring

Day 56
Before my friend departed, we toured the Arboretum, got our geek on at the World Forestry Center Discovery Museum, enjoyed some Flight of the Conchords and strolled around the neighborhood. Sadly, it's now back to life as usual.

Day 55.
To say we ate a lot today would be a serious understatement, but there are still 4 gourmet cupcakes on the kitchen table. Danger!

There was a coastal excursion complete with a tour of the Tillamook factory and a bald eagle sighting!

Platform Forming

Day 53
Today I helped a certain someone build lots of platforms for his set - all the ones I'm sitting on. There are some crazy triangles in that stack, too - don't be fooled by the right angles you think you see!

It was a real treat to catch the shafts of the sun in all the saw dust in the air, otherwise, nothing too spectacular going on lately EXCEPT I'm picking up a friend from the airport tonight. SO EXCITED!

Emerald Slippers

Day 52.
I love my green shoes. I have five pairs, but these are the brightest. They are my favorites despite being poorly made and having no support; they are just so fantastic I have to wear them.

A big day of errand running, vertigo after shocks, laundering and LOST watching, except abc didn't air a new episode so that last part was kind of a bust.

I wish this were more momentous for such a milestone in my 365, but oh well. I LOVE spyin' on people from the apartment so beware if you're planning to have a private conversation in the alley.

FINALLY! I am feeling better and there's been no dizziness yet today! I hung out at the park and enjoyed the sun, caught up with some friends and got crafty! The sky is almost Colorado blue... hooo-ray!

I finished this hat today, and I'm not sure I like it to be honest. I love the color, but it's just not quite what I expected.

Monotony

Day 46.
Relegated to the couch again today. I am forming a perfectly kimi-shaped groove. On the plus side, I found a baby plant growing in with some of my others. It's time to document the little guy... tomorrow.

Spins part deux

Day 45.
This morning my head was still spinning enough to keep me home from the internship. I'm feeling better tonight but still a little off kilter. I am, however, caught up on all my shows and dying to get out of the house!

No I didn't drink too much. Today I experienced severe vertigo for the first time ever - and mine didn't last that long, but it is MISERABLE. So if your mom ever has severe vertigo offer up your deepest sympathies. Really, it's a shame because I was planning to take some ridiculous pictures in honor of a Sassy friend's birthday.

Right now I'm a getting a little disoriented just looking at this picture so I'd better go!

Day 43.
Two good things happened tonight. I made steak enchiladas (hello delicious!), and I listened to lots of music for the first time in a while. In the spirit of the day, I have these lyrics for you:

Mmmm the sweet taste of half-price candy. Can there be anything better? Yes! candy-induced naps - And hyphens.

Happy Easter. Today was pretty boring here. A lot of crochet, a lot of shark week online. A surprising lack of Easter candy on hand. Maybe we'll pick up some clearance goods tomorrow.

Today the yarn frenzy continued. I guiltily purchased more and then took it to work #2 where I am filling in an odd job here and there. Then a certain someone and I went to a party and were the last guests standing. Totally atypical, but awesome.

Rainbow Brite

I made this hat today! I bought the yarn thinking it was only blues and yellows and oranges... turns out it's a little more fabulous than all that. I have created my very own pride uniform. Ha!

The Bird.

Day 38.
So my right middle finger has been hurting for almost two weeks. I'm over it. It is starting to impair my crocheting ability, not to mention my typing! I'm giving it the bird.

Yarnia

Day 37.
Ever since my friend and I went to a yarn store last weekend, I have been yarn crazy. I churned out this fingerless gloves in a few hours and am lusting after even the old crappy yarn that's been in the back of the box for two years. This may be the creative surge I've been waiting for.

I can't be bothered

It's not that I don't take pictures while I'm not at home, but I am still too shy to boldly take photos in public. It doesn't help that there is an extreme case of home-bodiness going around the apartment.

Best Monday Ever

Today a certain someone and I helped our friends move some furniture. In return they fed us a lovely dinner and we played games for several hours. It was great great fun!

Sometimes your really amazing sunshine-y day is followed by a WTF night. This was one of those. All I can say is this was THE most bizarre theatrical experience I have EVER had. Please call for details before I block it out completely.

The show I'm working on right now is sold out. That's fantastic for the theater, but craptastic for me. It was hours of non-stop fun tonight and I am ready to turn in.
